About

Who's writing this, and why it exists.

I'm Max. I've been writing software since 2012, back when a freelancer was expected to build everything: websites, APIs, databases, the odd WordPress site I'd rather forget. I did that for other people for years, until it hit me that I was helping everyone else buy their freedom while renting out my own time by the hour. So I stopped, and started building my own small products instead.

What I actually do

Since then I've launched a lot of micro-SaaS. A few paid the bills for years. Most didn't. Several never found a single paying customer, and honestly those taught me more than the wins ever did. I'm not a guru and I won't pretend to be one. I've just shipped enough to have opinions worth your time, and enough scars to keep them honest.

Why this site exists

Micro SaaS Insider is where I write down what worked, what blew up, and how to tell real demand from wishful thinking before you waste three weeks building the wrong thing. The whole site runs on one stubborn belief: a boring SaaS making $2,000 a month beats a revolutionary startup making $0. Revenue is validation. Traffic isn't. Likes aren't. Funding isn't.

If you're a developer or solo founder trying to make your first real money online, you're exactly who I'm writing for. No hype, no growth-hacking theater. Just the unglamorous work that turns code into something people pay for. Pull up a chair.
