I'm Imani. I grew up in Atlanta, moved to Austin in 2023, and I am not a software developer. I want to say that upfront because a lot of "how to build SaaS" content still assumes you have been writing code since college. I haven't. I worked ops and marketing at a small e-commerce brand until 2023, which mostly meant spreadsheets, vendor emails, and learning what customers actually complain about.

I started playing with ChatGPT because I was curious, not because I had a master plan. I googled "what is an API" more than once. I still can't read a production codebase the way a senior developer can. What I can do is describe a problem clearly, point AI tools at it, test with real people, and ship before I feel ready.

Since 2024 I've launched four or five small micro-SaaS products using AI-assisted builders and an always-on Hermes Agent setup on a cheap VPS. I talk to it through Telegram while I'm doing other things. One or two picked up paying users. The rest died quietly. I'm still learning how to configure agents properly — skills, tools, gateway setup — because I think that's where this is all going, and I'd rather learn it now than catch up later.

My one-line philosophy, which colors everything I write:

The product does not care who wrote the code — you or your agent. It cares whether someone pays.

I'm a bootstrapper. Real revenue, small products, independence. I move fast because the tools change fast, but I'm not naive about hype. A $19/month payment from a stranger still beats a thousand impressed comments. AI removed the "you must learn to code first" gate. It did not remove customer research, pricing, support, or the part where you have to admit your first version was confusing.
